Begun in 2026, this series works with magnolia leaves. Some stand on their own and some are joined with handmade paper; all are shaped and gilded in copper and gold. The paper pieces open into lace-like structures; the leaf-only pieces keep the full curl of the leaf. As with the flax, the form follows the leaf itself: its veins, its edges and the way it curls as it dries.
